which refers to Jesus as “the firstborn from the dead” (v. 18c).

Though many people left shortly after the service concluded, having enjoyed some coffee and pastries, there were several who lingered and engaged themselves in spontaneous worship of their Maker and Creator.

Back at Hagan’s at 10am we celebrated Jesus’ resurrection again.

Christ has risen; Christ has risen, indeed!

A Community Sunrise Service debuted Easter morning at 6:30 a.m. in Pioneer Park to celebrate our risen Lord and Savior Jesus the Christ.  Present were parishioners from approximately six churches in the L-C Valley.

The music ensemble comprised of people from the First Baptist Church, Hope Chapel,

and Church of New Hope.  Everyone made a joyful noise.  The sun

was illumining the sky about during the music set and was very pretty

...though very cold.

The sermon was given by Josh Spoelstra from Colossians 1.15-23, a Christological Hymn

On February 3rd, we had our annual business meeting in Hagan’s Hall after a potluck which followed the Corporate Worship Service.  Some of the new business included: a considerable step

forward in revamping the church constitution, the launching of a church website: (www.lewistoncnh.org), approval to blacktop the parking lot, and entrusting the Youth Group with $1,000

which came from the WVAC Conference.

Everyone seems to be excited concerning the anticipation of what God could hold for us in the future here at CNH.
